It is enough!

"[Mrs. Dashwood] was first called to observe and approve [Edward] farther, by a reflection which Elinor chanced one day to make on the difference between him and his sister. It was a contrast which recommended him most forcibly to her mother.
'It is enough,' said she, 'to say that he is unlike Fanny is enough. It implies everything amiable. I love him already.'
'I think you will like him,' said Elinor, 'when you know more of him.'
'Like him!' replied her mother with a smile. 'I can feel no sentiment of approbation inferior to love.'"

Oh yes...I'm loving this book. (Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen.)

My first day of classes went really well. I think the playwriting seminar that I was so worried about is going to be super fun. We had our first group writing exercise...everyone had to write a terrible two-page play in fifteen minutes. Our TA said that not everything we write will be brilliant, so we might as well get our crappiest work out of the way on the first day of class. After we all wrote our awful plays, we had other people in class read them dramatically. :) Oh, and to my relief, only two of the ten people in the class are playwrights. Everyone else is a fiction writer and/or poet that was forced into this section. The House Seminar (with playwriting, poetry, fiction, and nonfiction sections all together) is this afternoon. I have no clue what to expect.

I think the class that will be the most difficult is my vocabulary building class (which I'm taking online). I have to memorize Greek and Latin words/suffixes/prefixes and then be able to recognize them in modern English words. Sounds fun, right?

One thing that I'm not loving about my schedule is the daily back-and-forth of work and class. I woke up at 10:00 and panicked because I thought I was late for work...then I remembered that it's Wednesday, not Thursday. Oh well, I'm sure that I'll get used to it. And now, off to the shower!
